Prices and quotations
Prices published on this site are per person for the standard package unless stated otherwise, and are quoted in Vietnamese dong. A quotation we send you by email is firm for 7 days from the date it is issued.
Prices exclude transport to and from Ha Giang city, personal travel insurance, drinks outside listed meals, private-room supplements and anything described as an upgrade on the tour page.
Deposit and payment
- A deposit of VND 1,000,000 per booking confirms your booking and releases your places.
- The balance is payable at our office in Ha Giang city before departure, in cash or by card.
- A booking is confirmed only when we have sent you a written confirmation email. If you do not receive one within 24 hours of paying, contact us.
Changes and cancellation

All cancellations must be sent to us in writing by email. Date changes are subject to availability and, close to departure, may be the only option we can offer.
If we cancel a departure — which happens only when conditions make the route genuinely unsafe — you may take an alternative date of equivalent value or a full refund of everything paid to us.
Insurance and your responsibilities
- You must hold travel insurance that covers motorbike riding at the engine size you will be on, and medical evacuation.
- To ride yourself you must carry a 1968-convention international driving permit endorsed A or A1 together with your national licence, and show both before departure.
- You must follow the guide's instructions, local traffic law and the safety briefing. Riding after alcohol ends your participation with no refund.
- You confirm you are physically and mentally fit for the activity you have booked.
- You are responsible for your passport, visa and any permits required for your nationality.
Motorbike travel in mountain terrain carries inherent risk. Beyond the damage cover included on the vehicle, we are not liable for injury, loss or delay caused by road conditions, weather, mechanical failure, third-party carriers or events outside our control, except where liability cannot be excluded under Vietnamese law.
Circumstances beyond control
If a storm, landslide, road closure, government action or similar event forces us to shorten, alter or cancel a tour, we will reroute wherever possible and refund the unused, unrecoverable portion. We cannot compensate for consequential costs such as missed flights, which is what your travel insurance is for.
Complaints
Tell your guide first — most things can be fixed on the same day. Anything unresolved should be sent to info@hagiangtourbooking.com within 30 days of the end of your tour so that we can investigate while the people involved still remember the trip.
